Valentine's Day Poem # 09
Two Roses
Our love is like two roses
That share one tender stem
Radiant as the brilliant fire
Within a polished gem
We draw our life as one breath
As sweet nectar does on dew
Whatever flows through me
Also flows through you
Strong roots beneath are grounded
In deep truth we both do share
No match in all the heavens
Makes such a perfect pair
Our soft petals join together
When a breeze sneaks softly by
Causing love to blossom forth
As a sunset rising high
I wish to always be beside you
In everything we do
For the breath of life you breathe in
Is the breath I breathe in too
